What I learnt from a ‘cult’ film: A film critic’s perspective

A cult film can be an incredibly divisive film, but it’s worth looking at some of the other films in the cult genre that I’ve made in the past decade.

This is an article that will focus on some of those films, some of them I’ve actually made myself.

What did I learn?

It’s important to understand that there are different types of cult films, each one has its own agenda, and it’s important not to be swayed by what others are saying.

It’s also important to realise that there is nothing inherently wrong with making cult films; they are an incredibly creative medium.

So here are some things I’ve learned from making cult cinema in the last decade.
