The film of The Joker’s story will feature an original story by Christopher Nolan, and the movie is scheduled to be released on July 20.
Nolan wrote the script and the film will be directed by David Ayer, who previously worked on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
“The film will tell the story of the life of the original Joker.
This film will have a rich history that has existed since its conception and will also include a rich new story from director David Aker, who will also write and direct the script,” the film’s press release said.
“In addition, it will introduce a brand new, yet familiar, villain that will take center stage in the story.”
Nolan is known for his dark comedy The Dark Knight Rises, which he wrote and produced.
The film, which will be released in theaters on July 22, will be the first Batman film since 2015’s Batman v.
Superman: Part One, which was released in 2019.
It will also be the third live-event film for Nolan and his team.
Nolan and Ayer co-wrote the script for the 2018 film Batman v The Dark Side, which starred Christian Bale as the Joker.
